JOB SHADOW OPPORTUNITY:
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ mission is to ensure a balance between the wise use and protection of our natural resources for the benefit of all. To fulfill this promise, ODNR’s diverse workforce operates throughout the state in an array of professions, including law enforcement, information technology, natural resource protection, environmental sciences, business administration, engineering, and more.
High school juniors and seniors from Ohio interested in participating in ODNR’s Job Shadow Day can qualify by completing an application showcasing their interest in a career in natural resources.
There are many areas of interest to choose from:
water quality
law enforcement
engineering
geology
communications/social media
wildlife biologist
park manager
videography
naturalist
forester
oil and gas

You can now order a shirt with senior signatures on the back. Shirts start at $15.50 and cost more for certain sizes - be sure to check out the order form for all of the details. The 6th grade is hosting a fundraiser for their upcoming Camp Nuhop. JJ's has graciously allowed us to host a fundraiser through them this coming Friday. All proceeds from Friday, March 21 will go towards helping with the cost of the trip for students. We appreciate any support.
FCCLA News!
Saturday March 8th FCCLA members competed at Regional Career Development Events. Aliyah & Kristi earned Bronze with their professional presentation on Abusive Relationships. Ace & Ragen earned Silver with their National Programs in Action project in FACTS (Families Acting for Community Traffic Safety) on Impaired Driving. Ace also earned bronze on his Interpersonal Communications project about Communication with Neurodiversity.
Everyone did great and Thank You to all staff that helped with the projects!

Look what will be waiting for our ESports players on Tuesday after school when they resume practice from 3-4:30: 8 new gaming chairs and 8 new 180hz monitors!
Special thanks to Owen Reynolds, Marla & Flynn Reynolds, and Blake Felty for assembling and connecting everything. Additionally, thanks to the maintenance crew for helping with the shipping shenanigans this week.
