Big Red Recap:
The JV and Varsity boys basketball teams hosted Bucyrus last night in a non-conference matchup. Both games were close low scoring affairs that went down to the wire. The JV team came back from an early deficit to win in overtime by a score of 43-39. The Varsity game was then a low scoring defensive battle as both teams struggled on offense from both the field and free throw line. The game never saw more than a 5 point advantage from either team as the Big Red were able to hang on for a 41-38 win over the Redman. The Big Red improve to 5-5 overall on the season and will be back in action on Friday at St. Paul.

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day 2025!
"Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often unappreciated.
From local, state, and federal, their duties command dedication. The jobs are often thankless and take them away from their families for long hours. Rarely do they know what their days have in store for them. Often law enforcement are the only paid emergency resource a community has. More often they work in coordination with other local, state, and federal organizations to make communities safer.
On National Law Enforcement Day, we have an opportunity to thank them for their service and offer a token of respect." - nationaldaycalendar.com
Thank you to our local law enforcement and specifically our Resource Officers here at the schools! 🤩
